 Pastor Brandon Teague has been the pastor of Faith Baptist Church in Paris, Texas since fall of 2003, when the Lord opened the door for the merger of two churches and Faith Baptist was born. Faith Baptist Church is a country church where old time values and manners are treasured, the music is lively and the preaching is strong. While soul-winning and missions are the main emphases of the church, the pressure is not to produce quantity as much as quality. "The Lord wants souls saved, but He also wants Believers to be equipped to face the darkness of this world." Brother Teague has a passion for the preservation of the King James Bible, and the accountability of Believers to stand for God against the enemies that threaten our religious freedom weighs heavy on his heart. Having started out his own life on the "wrong side" of God's expectations for him, Brother Teague has a different view of those who are down and out. "Depression, anxiety, poverty and despair don't scare me. There ain't nothing that old time religion won't fix. But you have to want to change before God will change you."
Brother Teague and his dear wife Taysha have four sons and one precious grand-daughter. Among the ministries he has started is a local television ministry called "The Old Paths Broadcast," which can be seen in the Paris, Texas area eighteen hours a week on Local TV 99.
