Schuyler "Rocky" Reidel was born and raised in and around Houston, Texas. The son of Philip and Michelle Reidel he is the oldest of four siblings. Schuyler began his interest in politics at a young age. Inspired and educated by his family around him, he took a stance towards individual freedom and a strong sense of community. Always willing to defend his convictions and beliefs, he gained a reputation among his peers as a 'rebel rouser.' At Klein High School he refused to take the state mandated standardized test, as a result he endured a monotonous (for an honor student) summer of remedial classes.

He proudly declares himself to be the "Only Political Prisoner of Klein Independent School District." Schuyler founded Save-Our-Nation.org as a 17 year old senior in high school and hopes to educate young people around him. Schuyler is now studying Mass Communications at Sam Houston State University, he is a part time DJ at KSHU 90.5, a member of the Sam Houston Ultimate Frisbee team, and has maintained a 3.7 GPA. He enjoys ultimate frisbee, backpacking, reading, and a stimulating debate in his free time.

When asked why he is so active in politics he replies: "in the words of Michael Peroutka, 'For God, Family, and The Republic."
